25; A year of climbing
In 2025, alongside my ongoing work on the international climbing stage, I’ll be dedicating my time to a deeply personal photography project that follows professional climbers and their outdoor journeys. This project is not just about capturing the intensity of climbing, but about celebrating the beauty of the landscapes, the stories behind our favourite crags, and the passion that drives us to these wild places time and time again.
The heart of this project lies in telling the stories of climbers and the areas that have shaped their journeys. We’ll explore the memories tied to these spaces, the love and respect we have for them, and reflect on how we can help preserve these environments for future generations.
The project is designed to be a collaborative and enjoyable process for every athlete involved. Here’s what you can expect if you decide to join:
Point-and-Shoot Photography
I will send you a point-and-shoot camera, along with a simple set of creative guidelines. These help to keep the flow of the project while still allowing your own style and experience to shine through. Have fun with this part — it’s all about enjoying the moment and capturing your personal connection with climbing!

Capturing Your Adventures
Use the camera to document your climbing journey: your favourite areas, projects, training moments, rest days, and the beauty of the natural environment around you.

Portrait Session
When the time comes, I’d love to meet you in person — either while visiting your climbing area, during trips, or at international events like the World Championships. During this meeting, I’ll photograph you on a larger medium format camera to create a series of portraits that complement your story.

Creating the Photobook
Eventually, all the captured stories and images will come together in a photobook, celebrating the beauty of climbing and the climbers behind the routes. A portion of the proceeds will go directly towards the development, maintenance, and cleaning of climbing areas — helping to preserve them for future generations.

This project is still in development, so some details will evolve along the way. However, the goal remains clear: to enjoy the process, tell meaningful stories, and give back to the climbing community and environment we all cherish.
If this sparks your curiosity, I would love to connect and discuss how you can be part of this journey!
